"Megan can do anything. Except for ballet. She was never very good at ballet" - Megan's Mom

"Megan shows real potential. She hums frequently in class, but she hums very well." - Megan's 3rd Grade Teacher

"Megan is very responsible. And she's usually very quiet, unless the free satellite from the sandwich shop downstairs is working and a soccer game is on." - Megan's Neighbor

"Woof." - Megan's Dog

I'm Megan.

I tell stories for a living.

I grew up in a bookstore, and my love of storytelling bloomed when I was small enough to sandwich myself in the small space between its two largest shelves—a tiny crevice where magic was real and the "real world" was just a cover for the wonders that revealed themselves to those who knew where to look. The roots of my imagination run deep, nurtured by countless afternoons spent turning pages and holding on tight as my world was shaped and forever changed by the magic of storytelling.

I've come a long way from those shelves. I’ve worked as a lighthouse keeper in Norway, a journalist, an author, an editor, and narrative designer. I’ve shaped and crafted stories in many forms, and in my work with Disney, Marvel, WIRED, and beyond, I’ve found that great storytelling always comes back to three critical elements: curiosity, nerve, and purpose.

Perhaps one of my favorite monsters said it best:

"Stories are wild creatures…When you let them loose, who knows what havoc they might wreak?"

I'm currently open to new opportunities, so if you have any questions about my work, about me, or if you just want to say hello, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me at hellomeganlogan@gmail.com.
